1. Technical description.
The smart charger is designed to charge 12V batteries with a capacity from 4 to 250 Ah.
Supported 12V battery types:
- LiFePO4 – lithium iron phosphate technology
- Pb/Sb – low-antimony lead technology
- Ca+(Hybrid) – lead-calcium hybrid technology with antimony additive
- Ca/Ca – calcium-calcium technology
- EFB – enhanced flooded battery technology
- Ag (Silver) – silver technology
- AGM – absorbed electrolyte technology
- GEL – gel electrolyte technology
Five operating modes plus four special modes allow the user to choose the best charging process for the current battery condition.
The LED display shows real voltage on the battery terminals, current, charge time, received amp-hours, and the selected operating mode.
Charge current from 0.1 to 20.0 A is adjusted with the control knob. In automatic current-detection mode, the charger selects the optimal current itself.
Each battery type requires a manufacturer-defined maximum allowable voltage threshold during charge. NANO-20 allows setting the voltage limit from 12 to 18.5 V.
The charger includes reverse-polarity protection. If the battery is connected with incorrect polarity, the device is blocked until the connection is corrected.
Output short-circuit protection is included. A high-efficiency fan prevents overheating, and its speed depends on the selected operating mode.

3. Usage recommendations.
- Do not allow liquids, acids, or acid mixtures to enter the device. Make sure the fan cannot draw liquid particles inside the charger.
- Do not block the ventilation openings.
- Do not cover the charger body. Place it so that air can circulate freely around the case.
- Do not expose the operating charger to direct sunlight. Additional heating can reduce operating efficiency.
- The charger is calibrated with voltage drop on the battery leads taken into account. Changing the length of these leads is possible, but correct voltage measurement on the battery is no longer guaranteed.
4. Warranty.
The warranty period is 24 months from the purchase date of NANO-20, including software updates.
After the warranty period, post-warranty service and repair are available.
Current NANO-20 version: c2.6
Version c2.6 improves parameter adjustment, displays the firmware version during startup, and updates the charging program: PR.1 is available instead of CC.2.
